Ridiculously difficult choice to make! Ultimately I chose this photo because I don't know that I will ever capture another picture of Mira that is this relaxed and genuine. Mira has autism and in most photographs she's looking away or noticeably tense. I wouldn't wish my child to be different then she is but I wish I could help her feel this at ease with the world every day.
